We went to the Tall Timber last week and it was suppose to be a special night since we were celebrating 34 years of marriage with Tall Timber was our honeymoon location. We brought friends with us that we were excited to show them your establishment. First we were told we needed reservations even in the bar! We have never been treated so rude or received such poor services. The food was marginal at best. We came in at 6PM and we're told we couldn't order our meals till 7. So we waited and at 7 our order was taken. We were not served our dinners till 8:20 when we asked where is our meals. Two meals were sent back since they were horrible. Pretty upsetting when you wait and see staff running around but not attentive. The bar was not busy with only 3 people and only one other table. We left at 9PM and your establishment will never see us again!! Sad that a great place has become the worst meal and service ever!!! Good Luck Tall Timber
The staff is always accommodating, food is amazing, and the lodging is well stocked for sleeping arrangements and kitchen. They are also open to dogs as well for a minor fee. Wonderful place to stay.
Tall Timber Lodge is one of the best places in Pittsburg New Hampshire. Trying the Rainbow Grill is a must. Food is excellent at the Rainbow Grill. All of the Cabins at Tall Timber Lodge are immaculate and you will feel right at home.
Can we say gross. When we checked in they told us we could not have dinner there. Reservation only. We entered our cabin and it smelled like moth balls and mold. Fine whatever, so we go moose watching and eat granola bars for dinner. When we returned that night and pulled down the blanket for bed we saw that the sheets were dirty. They had dog hair all over them and we did not have a dog. The office was closed so we grabbed our extra blankets from the car and slept on top of the bed.
Great guest room, great service and even better menu selection with fanstastic food.
