If you book from him, make sure the price you are quoted is the same as when you arrive, and for heavens sake stay out of the dirt and mud(good luck with that)
When I called to reserve them I was quoted the price of $250.00 per machine per day for 2 days.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Charged unauthorized charges for damages to our Credit Card a week after returning the machine. Side by side was given to me with bald tires which is unsafe! Complained about it being dirty upon return. Overcharged for damages we agreed on and then charged more without my permission.
On a recent weekend we rented 2 ATV's from this Luis at Trailside Rentals. He seemed like a really nice guy.
I was never told of any additional charges when I booked them.
He even went so far as to tell us we should have backed up and turned around at any puddles. Keep in mind we had two storms while riding.
Guy seemed very nice, even gave great trail advice, but was very mad when atvs came back with a little bit of mud on them. Trails were wet, he should know that. Charged 200 bucs extra because he claimed BOTH belts were ruined, but the belt casing wasnt even wet! Huge scam, and was too lazy to use the hose and clean the machine. All in all, two side by sides were almost 900 for the day. Go to Bear Rock Adventures to rent if you are in Pittsburg.
If we turned around at every puddle we would still be out there!
We will be purchasing our own machines so we won't ever be treated like that again.
I guess we were just supposed to ride on paved roads or park them at our hotel and look at them.
When our guys went in to pay they were charged an additional $90.00 each. I wasn't aware of this until later on that day.
He told us we would probably not like the trails marked in red as they were more advanced.
Seriously??
My math skills are not great but that comes to $500.00 in my mind
He tried to make us feel really bad about how dirty the machines were.
He never specifically told us to stay off certain trails.
We stayed on the easier trails until Sunday afternoon and did try a few more difficult trails. While on these trails we were extremely careful and went slowly.
Luis at Trailside Rentals is a great guy and very knowledgeable about the area and has been in business for 20 yrs. If your in Pittsburg and want to rent an ATV Luis is the person to see.

As it was we went through any puddles slowly and with caution and treated his machines with respect .
Both machines performed excellently and we had a great two days of riding.
Before we left on our trip we asked him about different trails to ride.
At first we thought he was joking but he kept stressing the point about how much cleaning he would have to do.
Rented a machine for the day and went through some puddles, (it rained heavy the night before). I came back and he freaked out and stated I owed him $250 for a new belt if later on that night he pulled the cover and found damage. Would not pull the cover with me present. Went on to point at the SEALED belt housing and claimed he could see belt debris coming out. Luckily I know a thing or 2 about how belt drives are sealed and vented, called him out on his BS and needless to say that extra charge went away. I feel bad for the few that got stuck paying a BS charge.

There wasn't one other machine out there that was not dirty, that is what happens when you ride.
When we returned the machines on Sunday one half hour early he immediately pointed out that the machines were "really dirty"
